Free static hosting: Netlify vs Vercel vs Cloudflare Pages vs GitHub Pages vs Render vs Firebase

The free plan at six static and frontend hosts: bandwidth, builds, limits, domains, functions, commercial use and what happens over the limit

Actualizado

Por qué comparar estos

Six free plans people pick between to put a site online. The biggest differences are in the rules, not the numbers: Vercel Hobby and GitHub Pages don't allow commercial sites, Netlify pauses every site when the 300 monthly credits run out, and Cloudflare serves static files free and unlimited (its docs now point new projects to Workers). Bandwidth runs from 5 GB a month (Render) to 100 GB (Vercel, and GitHub's soft limit). The table doesn't show real-world speed, uptime or support, and 'not stated' means we couldn't find the number on the provider's own pages. Not a ranking, not a speed test.
