Top 20 countries by air passengers carried a year
Passengers flown by airlines registered in the country, domestic and international
Actualizado · air passengers (a year)
Por qué estos 20
World Bank indicator IS.AIR.PSGR (from ICAO): passengers carried on domestic and international flights by air carriers registered in the country. It counts the country's airlines, not its airports, so a hub served mostly by foreign airlines ranks lower than its airport traffic suggests. That is why Ireland, home of Ryanair, is near the top.
